I have been teaching private piano since 1983. I taught general music in a private school for 5 years. As a student, I participated  in the American Musicians Piano Guild. My experience in Guild had such a positive impact on me that I became a member as a teacher. I have had many years of experience playing for my church and accompanying choirs. I have been the main accompanist for public school choirs and the accompanist for band contests. I have extensive  experience teaching older teenagers and adults.I firmly believe that anyone at any age can learn to play the piano. My teaching method includes method books along with theory and flash cards. I love Classical Music and incorporate this into the lessons. 

I feel it is essential to make each student know that I am fully dedicated to teaching them the joy of learning how to play the piano at their full potential. Each and everyone of my piano students have been such a blessing in my life.
