Lauren is a musician always on the quest to grow. The product of a highly musical family, including her father, grandfather, and a not-so-distant cousin in Aerosmith, her primary focus personally and with students is to advance music by creating it.

Lauren is a classically trained musician who has found just as much growth in contemporary styles as the pieces she studied as a child.

After 15 years of private instruction for both piano and vocals, the thirst for more has evolved into composition, orchestration, playing live with a multitude of bands, session work for many different artists, live sound, audio engineering, and keeping up with the latest advancements in synthesis technology. 

 

Lauren loves to focus on connecting the visual and emotional aspects of music to bring about a colorful end product with vivid melodic interpretations. She has been teaching for five years, with the ultimate goal of turning learners into creators and nervousness into confidence. She can teach many different styles, and demonstrates her vast array of influences when composing for her bands and side projects. She can be found playing with her bands, attending other local shows, traveling, housing a zoo of animals, attending Major League Baseball games, and hiking 14-ers.
